When you guys applied did it took long for them to answer, i wrote them an email asking some questions and it took more than 2 weeks for then to answer, i actually have been on this process more than 2 months and no advance...its kind of fustrating.
How did you did it?All by internet?

My process took a while too but not very long. Being in the US, it takes a while to get the proper paperwork and fees over to the office. But the advisor, Luce Schneider, is extremely nice and helpful. I kept in contact with her on a regular basis and I was accepted. The entrance exam is not difficult at all. Im looking forward to it.

Hi, i'm also attending the fashion merchandising, but in two weeks, not january. I also found luce schneider very helpful and diligent. There were many steps to the application process, but overall, it went very smoothly. I guess i'll see you all at polimoda when you arrive in jan. ps. you'll love florence, very beautiful, ciao,

Alang, please let us know how it is when you get there. I am dying to speak with someone who is currently there or who has graduated from the program.
Did you have any problems with the consulate in your country? I know someone that was having problems here in the states. Im interested in knowing more about that process. I've been accepted but I have still have to do those things.

Hey Everyone. I was wondering if anyone is interested in sharing an apartment with me ? There are 2 bedroom apartments available ( one single room and one double) that costs around 800 euro and above. I can take the single room if you prefer the rent to be less expensive. I have a question. Is anyone finding the school hard to finance? I'm having the hardest time finding any type of aid. Help if you can. I've changed my admission date to June 2007 to give me a little more time to save for it. I'm wondering if anyone has found scholarships, etc to help cover the cost.

I'm from Sweden, but live in London - and I will probably move to Florence on the 4th or 5th of Jan. I completely agree with Tessan, it would be great to have a "get together" before the course starts.

Hi Everyone,
Just want you give you some advise regarding accomodations in Florence. If possible , do not get an apartment in the San Lorenzo area- especially if you like going out at night. During the day it is lovely but at night it gets a bit dodgy........I have a beautiful apartment in this area-- whenI go out at night I always make sure I am accompanied by someone on the way home....a lot of unfortunate incidents have happened to friends of mine so watch out...... ciaooooooo

hi all,
Ive been accepted to Polimoda's masters in fashion merchandising program for Jan 2008.
Has anyone else in that program or just going to Polimoda in Jan found housing? I know a couple of people here in the U.S. that may be able to help me find a place in Florence but if anyone has some good advice about finding a place i would love to hear it!
And does anyone know about getting a student loan from the U.S.? because FAFSA doesnt really apply to Polimoda.

I am doing the 4 month Orientation starting in January, I live in a studio by Polimoda at the moment but im really trying hard to find a new apartment...hopefully with some nice roomates.

Hi guys!!
I want to study at Polimoda... but I am completely lost as far as admission procedures go... I am an American student ... I will be finishing my degree this coming December... I want to attend Polimoda June 2010... Are the application deadlines the same for both terms (Jan and June)? Do I have to turn all of my documentation along with the application? Since I will be graduating in December and the application deadline is in October I am sure I won’t have my degree and degree translation by that date. What are all the documents that I must summit? How hard is to get in? How hard is the entry exam? Please help!!!!
